Parent Support Group
This has been set up after consultation with parents of children who are on our school role, those whose children attend our school on Outreach and other parents in the local community whose children have Special Educational needs.
The purpose of the group is to support parents and give chances for social gatherings so that parents can share experiences. We have arranged to meet once a term where we will organise for guest speakers to attend, or any other trainings, help and support that parents suggest will be of benefit to them and their children. Our first meeting in January was a big success with a great number of parents attending.
For those who need it we can provide transport to and from our meetings and there are crèche facilities provided on site. Below is a list of our meetings for the rest of the academic year.
If you have any queries, would like further information or wish to attend any of our meetings please contact us on 01684 295639 or by e-mail to hsilverthorn@aldermanknight.gloucs.sch.uk.
