The Head teacher is very happy to meet with parents and carers of children for whom Alderman Knight may be an appropriate school before a request for a place is actually made. This will obviously help make a more informed decision about whether the parents or carers feel the school can meet the needs of their child. School Policies
The school has in place the wide range of required statutory policies as well as policies covering other aspects of school life. As they are so numerous and a number of them fairly lengthy, they are not included within the prospectus. However copies of the policies are available from the school on request and some are available from the website.
Child Protection Procedures
As a school we are well aware of the statutory requirements upon us to ensure there is an effective and efficient Child Protection Policy that highlights the statutory child protection procedures to be followed. This includes a responsibility to work very closely with other agencies as appropriate. The policy is available on request.
