Highly Commended Award at Young Enterprise County Final!

At the beginning of this school year, 4P formed the Criss Cross Company and entered themselves in the Team Enterprise section of Young Enterprise. They made the decision to manufacture two products. The first was a plant trellis which inspired the choice of name for the company.
Below are photos of Chris and Harriet working on one of the trellises, which come in three attractive colours - green, blue and cream - as well as a natural alternative.
The second product that they went on to make, were some very attractive trays with a choice of mosaic tiled bases or stencilled artwork created by Jake:
The judges were most impressed that the trays were completely handmade and that they had not just been bought in and decorated!
The Criss Cross Company have proved that both teamwork and utilising individual strengths and specialist skills is a recipe for success! Their Highly Commended Award for Manufacturing was well deserved, and the products are now available for sale with the trays priced at £9.99 and the trellises at £14.99, or £18.99 with the inclusion of a terracotta plant pot. Orders can be placed with Emily Thompson, the company's Sales Manager.
