Playing for Success presentations

Zoe and Lesley from Playing For Success at Cheltenham Racecourse came into school today to present certificates to our latest group of pupils to attend their course.
The course lasts 6 weeks and the pupils get the chance to use the weighing room, ride a mechanical horse, run the last furlong, calculate the seating capacity of the main grandstand, interview top jockeys and trainers, and undertake various ICT activities including video editing and creating web pages! The Centre delivers all this through the medium of sport that combines power, finesses, bravery and skills in both man and horse together as one.
