Good morning girls!  Please let me introduce you to our two hens, French & Saunders, replacing Martha and Matilda who decided they preferred to remain on holiday at Mrs Steel's farm....

French & Saunders arrived here on Saturday and were settled into their new home by Harley and Mrs Simons.  They obviously like it as they have already produced two very large eggs......

They have been given "free range" of the Sensory Garden at the moment and are doing a grand job of keeping down all the pests that are around at this time of year.  Their favourite place is behind the greenhouse:

The garden itself is beginning to take shape with various annuals, bulbs and herbaceous plants coming into flower, which along with the blossom on the fruit trees makes it a lovely area to look out onto or spend some time in.

More photos of the garden and our "girls" can be found in the Photo Gallery.
