Literacy is taught throughout the school and our aim is to improve the communication skills of all pupils. The programme of study incorporates reading, writing and speaking and listening.
Drama is an integral part of the subject and pupils are given the opportunity to perform throughout the school. A recent national award, ‘Artsmark Gold’ is testament to improving the individual’s self esteem through a range of performance and presentation skills.
Key Stage 4 offers pupils the opportunity to gain external accreditation, i.e.
