Religious Education

Religious Education is taught throughout the school and is based on Gloucestershire LEA programme of study.

Although the majority of teaching is based on Christianity, and its place in our culture, understanding and tolerance of other religions and beliefs are a fundamental part of the work.

The school now has a substantial collection of artefacts from the six main world religions and they are used to good effect in many of the lessons.

At Key Stage 4, pupils study for unit awards accredited through the Assessment and Qualifications Alliance [AQA] or Transition Challenge.
