Work Experience and Community Service

There is a big emphasis on ensuring pupils are well prepared for the world of work. During Year 10 and Year 11 pupils will be given the opportunity to undertake a block work experience placement for two weeks. In year 10 this will take place in July and in Year 11 the placement will take place in December. For some pupils it may be felt more appropriate to set up a Community Service placement in the Tewkesbury area. Within the English department pupils will follow-up their placement with completion of a unit of work.
